Fourth International Conference on Artificial Inteligence And Applications in Engineering Technology 2014 (ICAIET2014)

 

ICAIET-2014 is the fourth in the series of International Conferences Organised by Artificial Intelligence Research Unit (AiRU) and School of Engineering and Information Technology, Universiti Malaysia Sabah.  The first conference ICAIET-2002,   conducted during 17-18, June 2002, has been very successful. In ICAIET 2002, there were 150 participants from 13 countries presenting 131 papers in various fields of AI and Applications.  There were 4 key note addresses – two from Malaysia, one from Japanand one from Italy.  Second conference – ICAIET-2004 conducted during 3-5, August 2004, there were 165 technical papers selected from 300 submissions. 250 delegates from 19 countries around the world participated in this international event. There were 4 keynote speakers from USA, Korea, Japan and UK. 

It was decided that ICAIET conferences would be organized once every two years. The third conference – ICAIET-2006 was held on 22-24 November 2006. There were 153 accepted technical papers. Four keynotes speakers from USA, South Korea, the United Kingdom, and Malaysia were invited and gave their insightful view on various topics ranging from theoretical aspects of artificial intelligence to applications of artificial intelligence. The outcome of the ICAIET-2014 will be very beneficial to students, researchers, industrialists, institutions of higher studies and government organizations in Malaysia and other countries.
